Party April 27th for Emerging Film Makers. We are working on having a party at The Little prior to Emerging Film makers at The Little. The three films that were part of the last RMM Summer Shorts Challenge will be shown, One Kill, For Whom the Phone Rings and X-Girlfriend.

Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts Challenge 2009!

The 2nd annual Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts Challenge starts now. The first RMM Summer Shorts Team Captain meeting is April 30th at 6pm at Spot Coffee. In addition, there are Team Captain meetings tentatively scheduled for every Thursday in May and June to help Teams of film makers get their short films completed. If you are a good project manager and want to help produce one of the great screenplays, plan on attending the Team Captain meetings to learn more.

We are tentatively planning on auditions for the RMM Summer Shorts Challenge 5/3 and 5/9. Actors, save the date.

Mike Boas is working on a Survey Monkey survey to determine interest and areas of expertise for the 2009 RMM Summer Shorts Challenge. It will be less than 10 short questions and come to you in a future email from RMM.

Mike Russo has been appointed to the Executive Board for RMM as Public Relations Director.

Mike Russo is working on an article about RMM. If you have short quotes he can include in his article about your experience with RMM, please send them to mrusso555@yahoo.com and include the name of the town you live in. If you know anyone in the media Mike can add to the RMM publicity list, email him that information too.

Do not forget we have changed the location of meetings for Rochester Movie Makers to The Visual Studies Workshop at 31 Prince Street. RMM Members meetings are the last Monday of each month.
