The Rochester Movie Makers Summer Video Challenge Update. There are 5 film teams working on the winners of the Rochester Movie Makers Screenwriting Challenge earlier this year. 3 of the projects are scheduled to be shot in the next 10 days. Learn about those projects and potential openings to earn crew experience.

The Rochester Movie Makers Whats Cool About Rochester Campaign-this winter Teams of Rochester Movie Makers members will be scripting, casting and shooting short films about Rochester and the cool part of living here when its cold.

Rochester Movie Makers is an organization of upcoming film makers, actors, camera persons, screenwriters and others in the Rochester area. RMM members volunteer help making each others movies and become familiar with other film/video makers in the Rochester area.
RMM is a NY State non profit educational organization designed to help new film makers network and bring short and feature films to reality. Have an idea for a movie? Would you like to be an actor, camera person, or other member of a movie cast or crew? Register now for free at www.rochestermoviemakers.org. All you need is an email address to be informed of organization meetings and some time to dedicate to help films be created in the Rochester area.
RMM meetings are a combination of education and networking. Come to the meetings each month. You may find an actor that motivates you to write a screenplay, you may find a director who will train you in camera operation this weekend, or you may find a producer that needs you to help direct her film.
To help the organization with expenses the organization voted to establish a “voting member” with annual dues of $25.00 ($10.00 for students). All are welcome to attend any Rochester Movie Makers meeting regardless of dues paying status.
