Rochester Movie Makers Video Challenge Screenplay Awards
2008-06-21
And the results are in! The Rochester Movie Makers Members have chosen from 11 scripts submitted and read at the last two RMM Membership meetings. All of the screenplays were excellent and will make great short films. We clearly are seeing more and more at every RMM meeting the level of talent for writing and making film in Rochester.

All attendees got to vote and here are the Top 8 screenplays. We are attempting to produce the top 8 since we have 8 Team Captains to turn these screenplays into Videos this summer!

It is not too late to take on a leadership position as a Team Captain. Team Captains will be meeting every Thursday at 6pm at Spot Coffee. The Summer Video Challenge will be filming as many of these great scripts as we can find teams and team captains.

Future emails will let you know what acting, crewing and editing opportunities are available. If you would like to be a part of making these films, clear your calendar in the evening and weekend as much as you can in July. If you have equipment (cameras, lights, etc.) collecting dust why not volunteer to let a filmmaker use it?

If you would like more information, write to stan@rochestermoviemakers.org.

Complete results and scores for the Screenplay competition can be viewed at www.rochestermoviemakers.org/forum. Your username for the forum is at the end of this email
