The next Rochester Movie Makers Member Meeting is January 25th at 6:30pm at the Visual Studies Workshop, 31 Prince Street. Parking in the rear of the building and enter in the front.

RMM Mind2Movie-72 Hour Film Competition-Several teams are signed up and ready to shoot a short film (6 minutes or less) the weekend of February 18th-21st. There is still time to sign up, registration deadline is February 12th. Registration discounts good through February 1st.

M2M Scholarship!

RMM has one Mind2Movie scholarship to award for a team that would like to participate but can not pay the registration fee. For more information on the RMM M2M Scholarship, come to the meeting or email stan@RochesterMovieMakers.org.

RMM Youth Project-outreach to inner city and other youth. RMM is working with the Webster Recreation Center on a short film 60 Days In The Lives of 12 Youth, Taking Charge. 12 Youth will attempt healthy changes in their lives for 60 days. RMM will help document their successes and challenges.

RMM Summer Internships-a discussion of reaching out to area colleges next summer to get help producing/editing/shooting the next series of RMM Summer Shorts.

RMM 2010 Summer Shorts-10 Page Screenplays are read at the March RMM Member meeting 3/29/10. We will vote for the best screenplays and produce some or all during the RMM Summer Shorts 2010. For more information attend the next RMM Writer Group Meeting
