Walk the Dream
-------------------------------------------------------------
Rochester Movie Makers is working with the producers of Walk the Dream, a documentary film being produced by several Rochester Movie Makers who plan on walking from NYC to LA and documenting the trip.
The Executive Committee will vote on whether to recommend to RMM Voting Members that RMM test a fundraising structure for this film that will allow the filmmakers to solicit development funds with tax write off potential.
Several members of the board met with the RMM attorney who feels this is a legitimate manner to use the organization 501C3. Pending approval of the Executive Committee, Voting members will vote on this test project at the March 25th Member meeting.
Mind2Movie-2010

A reminder that the Mind2Movie-2010 the 72 Hour Film Challenge early bird registration has been extended to January 17th! You can help promote it by printing out and or posting a link to the webpage (www.RochesterMovieMakers.org/m2m) everywhere.

The 72 Hours starts Thursday 2/18 and ends Sunday 2/21. Save the dates!
The final projects will be shown at the Little Theater, 2/25/10. Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 6:30. Awards will be presented immediately after in the Cafe!
Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts-2010

10 Page Screenplays will be read at the March 29th meeting of Rochester Movie Makers. Reviewing guidelines for the project will be on the agenda.
Continue the discussion of the potential MacGuffin to use in the short films as a running thread.
Monday March 29th at 9:15pm we are hopeful that some or all of the RMM Summer Shorts from 2009 will play at The Little Theater Emerging Film Makers. Titles include:
