Mind2Movie-2010 the 72 Hour Film Challenge early bird registration has been extended to January 17th! The poster for this is attached to this email. Can you help promote it? Print it out and or post a link to the webpage (www.RochesterMovieMakers.org/m2m) to all your Facebook, Myspace, etc. buddies. Help us get the word out.
96.5 WCMF The Break Room is a team in Mind to Movie. There are threads in the RMM forum www.RochesterMovieMakers.org/forum for many of the current teams that are looking for help the weekend of February 18-21st. You do not have to run a movie project to be part of one. Help the Break Room or one of the other registered teams. http://bit.ly/7GRJN4
The final projects will be shown at the Little Theater, 2/25/10. Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 6:30. Awards will be presented immediately after in the Cafe!
Walk the Dream

Rochester Movie Makers is working with the producers of Walk the Dream, a documentary film being produced by several semi-sane Rochester Movie Makers who plan on walking from NYC to LA starting in April. We are hoping to help these fine young people raise funds under the RMM 501C3. More information coming at the RMM Executive Committee meeting next Thursday. Voting members will vote on this test project at the March 25th Member meeting.
Rochester Movie Makers Summer Shorts-2010

10 Page Screenplays will be read at the March 29th meeting of Rochester Movie Makers. The guidelines for the screenplays will be posted at www.RochesterMovieMakers.org soon. The RMM Writer Group is working on a running MacGuffin and or Theme for the screenplays that writers can be part of if they elect. The goal is to create several short films this Spring/Summer that can be combined into a short feature type film. To be involved in this, come to the next RMM Writer Group Meeting.
Save the date! Monday March 29th at 9:15pm we are hopeful that some or all of the RMM Summer Shorts from 2009 will play at The Little Theater Emerging Film Makers. Titles include:
